Minister of State John Paul Phelan launched the DSC Ability Programme at Crumlin Bowling club on May 31.

It is co-financed by the Irish Government and the European Social Fund to deliver pre-activation programmes for young people with disabilities.

The launch marked the successful collaboration of Dublin South City Partnership with Ballyfermot Chapelizod Partnership, Dublin City Community Cooperative and Rehab National Learning Network (NLN) to deliver this programme across Dublin South City.

Deirdre Moore, Ability Coordinator said the day was a wonderful celebration of the programme delivery to date, and it presented an opportunity to thank all participants involved.

Among the key speakers on the day were DSCP Board Chairperson Bruce Phillips and Ballyfermot Chapelizod CEO Anne Fitzgerald.

The DSC Ability team hope to further promote the programme across their catchment areas of Dublin 2, 4, 6, 6W, 8, 10, 12, and 20.
