By Maurice Garvey
A FREE four-week mental health programme starts in Ballyfermot on Tuesday, February 6, at Ballyfermot Parish Centre, 199 Kylemore Road.
The programme is hosted by community mental health organisation Grow.
Anyone over the age of 18, interested in learning more about positive mental health and wellbeing, is encouraged to book a place on the programme, which takes place every Tuesday night in February at 7.30pm.
The four-week programme is organised by John Farren, Health & Wellbeing Development Co-ordinator with Grow in Ireland.
Talks include promoting positive mental health, mindfulness, stress management and coping skills and healthy activities.
“We live in a time when a lot of people are experiencing difficulties, financial, emotional, physical and psychological,” said John.
“Grow hopes this four-week programme will provide information around how to mind your mental health in challenging times and direct people towards the supports that are available.”
