Witnesses sought for single-car collision

AN GARDA Síochána are appealing for witnesses in relation to a single-vehicle road traffic collision which occurred on Thursday, August 2, at approximately 8pm on the R130 at Woganstown, Oldtown.

Both male occupants of the vehicle involved in the incident fled the scene.

This vehicle was also involved in an earlier incident in Newcastle at approximately 7.40pm.

Gardai are appealing to any persons who may have witnessed the collision or who travelled on the Outer Ring road off the N7. In particular they wish to seek the assistance of the driver of a blue crane travelling on this road at the time.

They would also like to speak with the driver of a small black car travelling on the M50 that evening between 7.40pm and 8pm.
