Companies encouraged to enter South Dublin County business awards

THE launch of the South Dublin County Business Awards 2016 took place this week at Citywest Hotel.

These awards are designed to celebrate companies who have gone above and beyond to address their own competitive interests and the interests of the community in the Dublin South County area.

Closing date for entries to South Dublin Chamber is fast approaching and must be received by 5pm, Friday, September 16.

A range of categories are covered in the awards including best small business, best not-for-profit, international trade, innovation, customer service, best place to eat, business sustainability and business person of the year.

The winning company will be able to demonstrate how it has promoted business activities which have brought simultaneous economic, environmental, and community benefits.

Spotcheck is carrying out the judging process and will be looking for evidence of any voluntary activities or community support initiatives undertaken within respective organisations.

They will also be looking for positive outcomes an initiative/programmes has had on an organisation, on the business, and a clearly identified business strategy which involves working with the community.

Northern Irish firm Spotcheck specialize in providing an independent and objective judging system for business awards.

Following the receipt of applications, the judging process will include visits from mystery customers to businesses – looking for establishments who can demonstrate their operational expertise.

Applicants are encouraged by South Dublin Chamber to take this chance to impress judges by including plans/ photographs and other supplementary information with completed typed submission.

The award winners will be announced at a gala dinner taking place on October 21 at Citywest Hotel.
