Contractors expected on Lucan village site later this month

By Echo Reporter

CONTRACTORS WORKING on the Village Improvement Scheme in Lucan are expected to be on site this month.

The news follows a question tabled by Councillor Ed O’Brien at last weeks Lucan Area Committee meeting of South Dublin County Council.

Cllr O’ Brien asked the County Architect “if he is in a position to produce revised drawings in relation to that portion of the Village Improvement Scheme affecting the area around the Village Green?”

The Council replied that tenders were sought for the pavement repair works in the Main Street in Lucan.

The contractor will be appointed shortly and they will be on site next month.

A revised scheme for the Village Green will be presented to the local Councillors at the April ACM.
