Grants programme for local community and voluntary groups now open

THE application process for South Dublin County Council’s Community Grants has opened.

The grants programme is “aimed at providing financial assistance to Community and Voluntary Groups who are responding to locally identified neeeds within their communities.”

The grants are available to applicant groups for building and managing community centres, helping with the costs of community sport events, purchasing IT equipment, and helping maintain community projects, for example a community garden or mural, among other projects.

Application forms for groups are available at and the closing date for all submissions is September 16 at 5pm.
