These questions came from Dublin South West constituents and were randomly put to candidates by The Echo at a Meet the Candidates event in Tallaght Stadium on February 18th, 2016.

Called Setting the Community Agenda, the event was organised by South Dublin County Public Participation Network and South Dublin County Partnership with support from South Dublin County Council and SICAP.

Of the 21 candidates running for election in Dublin South West, 15 were in attendance on the night, with both Colm Brophy and Ann Marie Dermody (FG), John Lahart (FF), Noel Francis Duffy (GP) and Frank O'Gorman (Ind) not present.

Due to the nature of the live event we were unable to question every candidate at the event, but we did conduct follow-up questions the day after, however, Eamonn Maloney was unavailable and so is not included.
