Almost 1,700 homes in Clondalkin without power due to outage

Nearly 1,700 customers have been affected by a power outage in the Clondalkin area this afternoon.

According to the ESB the outage is located in the Liffey Valley area, and is affecting 1,686 customers.

In the latest statement from the power supplier, they said: “We apologise for the loss of supply.

“We are currently working to repair a fault affecting your premises and will restore power as quickly as possible.”

An estimated time of 4pm has been given for power to be restored.
