Confidential tip-off leads Gardai to seize almost €300,000 worth of drugs

As a result of confidential information received by Gardaí from Blanchardstown a house was searched in Huntstown Court, Blanchardstown Dublin 15 on Thursday evening.

During the course of the search Gardaí discovered cannabis resin with an approximate street value of €247,000, Cocaine with an approximate street value of €43,000 and Ecstasy tablets with an approximate value of €1,150.

One male (20s) was arrested and conveyed to Blanchardstown Garda station.

He is being detained under the provisions of section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996 as amended.
