DUBLIN: One person taken to hospital after serious road traffic accident overnight

One person was taken to hospital overnight after a serious road traffic accident in Dublin.

Pictures shared by Dublin Fire Brigade show the damage done to the vehicle involved.

Units from the emergency service attended the scene of the incident on the Swords Bypass.

According to DFB, one person was removed from the vehicle and was transported to hospital.

The person’s condition is unknown at this time.

In an update from Dublin Fire Brigade this afternoon, a spokesperson said: “Swords station attended a single car RTC last night on the Swords bypass.

“One person extricated from the car and transported to hospital.”
