ebeauty - Beauty Summer Skin & Faux Freckles

Welcome back to this week’s eBeauty Blog, where today’s topic is one of 2019’s biggest makeup crazes, Faux Freckles.

Who would have thought that freckles would be a trend but after making appearances on some major runways such as Victoria Beckham and Versace, it’s now a must-have beauty looks of 2019.

Now that’s all well and good for the naturally freckled gals and guys but what about the people who aren’t?

But just like brown haired gals can rock a blonde mane, you can have freckles even if you weren’t born with them too!

Check out this week’s feature to see what products and methods I use to create Faux Freckles and watch this week’s tutorial to see how I incorporate them into my Summer Holiday Makeup Routine.

Products

Believe it or not, you can actually get products made for creating Faux Freckles, but you may be surprised by the products you will have in your makeup bag that will do the trick. Here are a few of my faves:

Freck €19

1. 1

Okay so judging by the name you probably already guessed that this is a product designed for creating freckles.

Almost like a liquid liner, this product is long-lasting and dare I say life-like. I love this product, but in my opinion, it’s definitely for the more experienced makeup lover.

Although it worked for me, I can see how it could go wrong and end up messy.

It is also a little pricey with a RRP of €19 for a 1.35ml bottle!

Ardell Stroke A Brow Feathering Pen €11

2. 1

If you have been following my Beauty Blog you will know that I love a versatile product, and this little gem is no exception.

Typically used for creating fleeky brows, this pen can create faux freckles to die for.

Easy to use, different shades, almost HALF the price of the above product, you can’t go wrong.

Anastasia Beverley Hills Dipbrow Pomade €23

3

So, this product is a bit pricey for an eyebrow pomade, but it is definitely worth the money!

It is a product that I have loved and used for years, and it lasts sooo long.

Not only can you use it for my brows but you can create a gorgeous subtle freckly illusion.

Check out this week’s tutorial to see how I used this product.
