Echo Letters: A pleasant walk in the park

Dear Editor,

Again this week I walked through Sean Walsh Park on Monday morning around 11.50am.

This week I was delighted to see that the bins were emptied with fresh bin liners inside them.

As you can see from the pictures there is still an issue with rubbish accumulating on the bridge.

I’m not sure who is responsible for it, but having the bins emptied regularly in the park should ease the litter problem on the bridge.

Please keep up this good work, South Dublin County Council – we really appreciate it.

It makes the walk in the park so much more pleasant.

But seriously, look at the state of the bins, I might put a little dab of black paint on them next week!

Yours sincerely,

Liz Kennedy, Old Bawn.
