Free course for those caring for a loved one with depression or bipolar disorder

DEPRESSION and bipolar disorder charity Aware will be holding a free four-week course in the Maldron Hotel, Tallaght, across four evenings, to help those supporting a loved one suffering with depres-sion or bipolar disorder.

The first of the four 90-minute-long meetings of the Aware Relatives and Friends Programme begins in the Maldron on Thursday, September 6.

The programme is being held in The Maldron, Tallaght

The programme will focus on equipping those who are supporting a loved one with tools to understand and support their loved one.

The group will contain a maximum of 20 people, and while the programme is free to attend a refundable €30 booking deposit is required to ensure your place on the course.

Those who are students, unemployed or OAPs can avail of a reduced booking fee.
