Garda investigating discovery of body at retail premises in Tallaght

GARDAI are investigating the tragic circumstances into the discovery of a body at a retail premises in Tallaght at lunch time today.

Emergency services rushed to the scene where they discovered a male aged in his 50s in the car park.

In a statement released to The Echo Gardai said: “Gardaí are investigating all the circumstances surrounding the discovery of a body on the grounds of a retail premises on the Old Belgard Road, Tallaght.

“Gardaí were alerted to the incident at approximately 1pm today, Thursday, 21st May 2020.

 

A male, aged in his 50s, was discovered deceased at the scene.

“His body has since been removed to the mortuary at Tallaght University Hospital where a post-mortem will be conducted”.

Investigations are ongoing.
