Gardai appeal for witnesses after fatal road traffic collision in Tallaght  

GARDAI are appealing for witnesses after a motorcyclist in his forties died in a single road traffic collision on Whitestown Way this morning.

The fatal road traffic collision happened at around 7am this morning, Monday, March 18, on Whitestown Way in Tallaght.

According to a Garda statement: “Gardai in Tallaght are investigating a single fatal road traffic collision which occurred at Whitestown Way, Tallaght, at approximately 7am this morning, Monday 18 March 2019.

“A male motorcyclist in his forties was pronounced dead at the scene following the collision.”

The stretch of road was closed to facilitate an examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators. The road has now re-opened.

Garda have appealed for witnesses to contact Tallaght Garda Station on 6666000, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any Garda station.
