By William O'Connor

GARDAI in Rathfarnham are investigating a break-in at the Lidl store in Ballycullen on Friday morning.

In a statement released to The Echo on Friday morning, Gardai confirmed that they “are investigating a break-in at a supermarket on Beechdale Road, Ballycullen at 4.10am on September 21st”.

“A front window was smashed and a quantity of alcohol was stolen.”

This is the second time that this Lidl store in Ballycullen has been targeted this year.

In June the store had a window broken and a charity box stolen.

Gardai from Rathfarnham are investigating.

Anybody who witnessed anything suspicious in the area is encouraged to contact Rathfarnham Garda Station on 01 6666500.
