Gardai recover vehicle stolen in Crumlin and used in burglaries by gang

A powerful car that was stolen in the Crumlin area recently and is believed to have been used in several burglaries has been recovered by Gardai.

Last week officers from Dun Laoghaire were involved in a high speed pursuit involving the vehicle, with officers tracking the Audi S3 to the Dublin mountains via the Blessington Road.

They eventually lost sight of the powerful car, but members of the Dublin Metropolitan Region Traffic Unit recovered the car on Sunday as part of Operation Waste.

A garda spokesperson confirmed to Echo.ie that the car was reported stolen last week, and an investigation is ongoing.
