Gorse fire warning continues as DFB share dramatic footage of huge blaze in Howth

A gorse fire warning remains in place from Dublin Fire Brigade as the dry weather continues across the capital.

Fires have broken out in several locations this week, including a huge blaze in Howth on Tuesday evening.

DFB captured the extent of the fire using a drone, with the footage showing the damage caused.

The drone also helped firefighters track the fire, with DFB saying, “crews used a drone to keep track of the fire, to protect nearby houses”.

With vegetation being extremely dry, the possibility of gorse fires increases, and members of the public are reminded to take care when enjoying the good weather.
