Luas release clips of collisions and near misses with cyclists to raise awareness of tram safety

The Luas operators have shared a new video in the hope of encouraging cyclists to be more tram aware when commuting.

The video shows cyclists in different parts of the city either coming extremely close to colliding with trams or actually being struck.

In one clip a person can be seen scrambling to get out of the way of an oncoming tram, while in another a cyclist unknowingly cycles right into the side of a tram.

According to Luas operators, none of those featured in the video were injured.
