Man (20) arrested in connection with murder investigation to appear before courts

THE twenty-year-old man arrested in connection with the investigation into the murder of Luke O’Brien O’Reilly is due to appear before the Criminal Courts of Justice at 10.30am this morning.

Luke, who is also 20, tragically passed away in Beaumont Hospital on Monday, November 13, from serious head injuries he sustained in the early hours of November 1 on the Old Blessington Road in Tallaght.

After Luke (20) passed away on Monday, a Post Mortem examination was carried out and the investigation was upgraded to murder.

A 20-year-old was arrested in connection with the investigation on Monday, November 13, and he is due to appear before the courts this morning, November 15.
