Man arrested in Ballyfermot after drugs and firearms recovered

A MAN was arrested in Ballyfermot on Thursday morning following a garda operation which uncovered guns and drugs.

As part of an on going operation, two searches were carried out in the Ballyfermot area by gardai from the Ballyfermot Detective Unit, assisted by the Armed Support Unit.


During the course of the searches, two firearms were recovered.

Crack Cocaine - subject to analysis - with an estimated street value of €85,000 was also recovered.

One male (22) has been arrested and is detained at Clondalkin Garda Station under Section 30 Offences Against The State Act.
