Man killed after early morning attack in Lucan

Gardaí at Lucan are launching a murder investigation following the death of a man at The Glebe, Esker, Lucan, Co. Dublin. 

Following an incident in the early hours of this morning a man was taken from the scene to James Connolly Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

According to reports the man may have been involved in an earlier altercation last night in the Neilstown area of Clondalkin.
