Motorists asked to take care as traffic lights are out of action at busy Tallaght junction

Traffic lights are out of action on the Outer Ring Road this lunchtime at the junction of Fourtunestown Way, near the Tallaght Leisure Centre.

Motorists are being advised to take extreme care at the busy junction, with technicians working on restoring power as soon as possible.

Traffic has been heavy in the area at times due to the outage, and drivers are asked to be patient.

The AA have said: "Traffic lights remain out of action on the Outer Ring Rd at the jct with Fortunestown Way. Care is advised on approach."
