A SALON in Clondalkin that offers hair, make-up, nail, eyelash and beauty services for a variety of events, including debs’, weddings and other special occasions as well as everyday services, held an open day recently.

Salon Anu, which is located beside the Arc Bar in Clondalkin, opened in August and held the open day to get the word out about the salon.

Experienced hair stylist Colette Brocklebank, who specialises in doing vintage wedding upstyles and colour extensions and has 16 years’ experience in the industry, is the owner of the salon.

The salon employs eight people, including a nail technician, a hair stylist and a make-up artist.

Emma Stafford, a hair stylist in Salon Anu, told The Echo: “We held the open day just to inform people that the salon is here, and to get the word out about it.

“The feedback we’ve been getting from customers has been very good. They’ve said that the salon is lovely, that the staff are very nice and that the prices are very good.”

The salon offers treatments including a full range of hair extensions and eyelash extensions, while customers can also benefit from free parking while they get pampered.

Emma added: “It’s a one stop shop, we do things for debs and weddings, we’ve had a good few bridal parties.

“The salon’s unique because you can get everything done and go straight out [to your event] afterwards.

“Business is booming, we’ve got loads of new clients.”

One of the salon’s most popular treatments is a boho blow dry, where the stylist skilfully creates beachy waves for their clients using just a hair dryer and a round metal brush.

Salon Anu also uses products by Keune, a Dutch high quality, professional hair care brand.

If you want to find out more about the salon or book an appointment, you can call them on 01 620 2335 or visit their Facebook page Hair by Colette B.
