Tandy's Lane in Lucan remains closed due to fallen power lines

Crews from EIR are continuing to make safe fallen electrical wires at Tandy’s Lane in Lucan.

The road has been closed for a period of time to allow for the works to be completed.

Once this has been done the fallen tree will be removed, the road will cleared of debris, and then it will reopen.

South Dublin County Council this evening said: “Tandy’s Lane - Eir still on site working on cables.

“When safe, the Emergency Works Crew will attend to fallen tree, make good and open Road.”

Motorists are advised to take alternative routes in the area if possible.
