Coyne, who also finished fifth in the 50m Breaststroke at the Youth Olympics in Argentina, is in among the contenders for ‘The Echo 2018 Sports Star of the Year’ Award.

Yet, next up for her will be a trip to China for the World Short Course Championships in which she will be the youngest member on the Ireland squad.

Templeogue, which retained the Swim Ireland Clubmark Award, has seen its membership continue to grow across all sections of the club year-on-year.
