LJays Elite competitors medal in ‘The Reckoning’ tournament

MEMBERS of LJays Elite Club in Kilnamanagh picked up medals at ‘The Reckoning’ Junior Kickboxing Championship in Aughrim Street Sports Hall on Saturday.

Ava Condron took silver in a straight 15-16 Intermediate Novice LC Final while her younger team mate Josh Riddell recorded double gold.

Members of LJays Elite Club in Kilnamanagh medalled in 'The Reckoning' Tournament.

He landed the 13-14 Advanced Kick Light title, beating Calum O’Connor in the semi-final and dominating the decider against Dylan King.

After that Riddell succeeded in the 13-14 Advanced Light Contact, as he beat Paddy Harper in the last four before again undoing Dylan King in the decider.

Colm and Stuart Prole followed suit, winning gold in their age-class.

In what was an all-L Jays Final, Oisin Condron edged out clubmate Jack Lynch in the Light Contact Novice 9-10 division.

Erin O’Hara lost her 11-12 Intermediate semi-final by a solitary point, but still won bronze. 

Ryan Dunne, the youngest participant from L Jays Elite Club, lost the 7-8 Light Contact Novice Final against Kieran Wall.
