The Precision Display squad impressed at the International Competition in Glasgow

There were 702 Gymnasts from 22 Clubs from England, Ireland and Scotland taking part over two days of intense competition, the standard at Senior level was incredibly high and the team knew they would have to bring their best performance to the floor if they were going to be ranked in the medals,

In front of 2,500 spectators the Team, consisting of 13 of Clondalkin Gymnastics Club’s most elite gymnasts did not disappoint.

They performed a highly skilled floor routine with incredible gymnastic technical difficulty choreographed to a fast-paced jazz soundtrack which had been coached by Yvonne Kavanagh.

The Team were thrilled to be awarded 1st place and take home 13 Gold medals and the much sought-after Senior Team Trophy for 2019 the highest honour awarded at this competition, beating the best teams from England, Scotland and Ireland.

The Team will now focus on Clondalkin Gymfest Competition which they will host early next year and then they will prepare for an international event in Portugal next summer.
