Request for new Taxi ranks in Tallaght to be examined

A STUDY of taxi ranks across South Dublin County is on the council’s agenda, following requests for new ranks to be established in Tallaght.

Responding to a query from Tallaght Central councillor Charlie O’Connor (Fianna Fáil) about a review of taxi ranks in Tallaght, the council said: “A study of our taxi ranks throughout the county is on a ‘to do’ list.

“This will be carried out in due course.”

The council did not provide any further details on when this ‘to do’ list might be worked through.
