Newly born horse abandoned in Tallaght field

After being left alone in a field in Tallaght following his birth, orphan Murt was facing a dire situation without his mam.

With time ticking, Murt was brought to the My Lovely Horse Rescue farm, with volunteers taking turns to feed him around the clock.

A foster mare, called Summer, was quickly found, and this happened....

Gardai arrest male (20s) in connection with early morning house fire in Tallaght

A HOUSE fire in Tallaght this morning is being treated by gardai as arson, with a male in his twenties arrested in relation to the incident.

Well done to the students of Knockmore Junior School in Killinarden on their graduation!

They finished the year with an amazing performance of the Yellow Submarine and really deserved their certificates (as well as a book with fish stickers).

Residents out in force to discuss Springfield home schemes

Residents came out in force for a meeting at St Marks GAA Club this evening to discuss proposals for two residential schemes in Springfield.

It has caused anger among members of the residents association who say they want to have their voice heard and preserve their open spaces.
