Cocaine worth €140,000 seized in Lucan

As part of an on-going operation targeting serious criminal activity in the Dublin Region, Gardaí from the Drugs & Organised Crime Bureau have seized cocaine with an estimated value of €140,000.

The drugs were seized when Gardaí stopped and searched a number of vehicles in the Lucan area yesterday evening, Monday 8th August 2016 at approximately 8pm.


Three men, aged 31, 32, and 35-years-old, were arrested at scene and are currently detained at Clondalkin and Ronanstown Garda Stations under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996.
