FORMER pharmacy employee Robyn Doyle (22) is the Ballyfermot entrant for the Dublin Rose in the 2016 Rose of Tralee Festival.

Robyn will compete to be Dublin Rose during the selection night, which takes place on June 24/25 in the Citywest Hotel.

Robyn is sponsored by the Haven Pharmacy (Moloneys) of Ballyfermot, where she formerly worked.

Meanwhile, Tallaght man Peter Capocci has been chosen as one of the 2016 Rose of Tralee escorts.

Proud sister Maria Capocci, from Killinarden, said the family are “delighted” Peter was chosen, and encourages local businesses to sponsor her brother.

Sponsoring an escort offers numerous publicity opportunities for businesses during the course of the event.
