179 premises without power due to fallen ESB pole

A NUMBER of houses in the Slade Valley area between Brittas and Saggart are without power this afternoon.

An ESB pole has fallen over on the road close to the entrance to Slade Valley Golf Club leaving 179 premises without power.

The fault was reported at 2.20pm and ESB personnel are currently dealing with the situation.

Power is not expected to be back until 6.45pm this evening.

‘We apologise for the loss of supply. We are currently working to repair a fault affecting premises and will restore power as quickly as possible,” said ESB.
