The development is proposed for the former Cable and Wireless site, with the demolition of the existing buildings included in the application.

The proposed development consists of 149 apartments across a part-five to seven storey block, and 179 apartments across a part-six to part-nine storey block.

The breakdown of the apartments includes 93 one-beds, 222 two-beds and 13 three-beds.

Planning also provides for two retail/commercial units, a café/restaurant, crèche, internal residents’ amenity area, residents’ lounge, co-working space, games rooms and gym.

As part of the fast-track process, a dedicated website detailing the proposed development must be created.
