CHI Tallaght is located at Tallaght University Hospital

The most recent information is in place until Friday, May 21.

Emergency and urgent care services at CHI Tallaght, Crumlin, Temple Street and Connolly are open.

However, CHI has asked families to not attend scheduled appointments unless contacted.

“We understand this is distressing for families of our services and our staff”, CHI said.

“A sincere thank you for the efforts being made and we ask for your co-operation for the remainder of the week.

“As there are manual processes in place, we will be slower than normal seeing our patients.

“We are asking all families if their child’s care is not urgent to help us by only attending if your child needs emergency or urgent care.”

In relation to services at the Children’s Hospital Tallaght, CHI has issued the following information – which is currently in place until Friday, May 21.

Children’s Health Ireland at Tallaght

-All elective inpatient and day cases are cancelled.
-All outpatient public and private clinics are cancelled.
-Some essential day- case inpatient and outpatient services are continuing and you will be contacted by the CHI at Tallaght team to confirm attendance.
-If attending the hospital please bring any appointment letter and/ or correspondence with your Medical Record Number (MRN). This will assist with retrieving your records.
