DFB spend almost three hours battling fire in Rathcoole

Dublin Fire Brigade spent almost three hours battling a fire in Rathcoole last night.

In total, DFB sent three fire engines to the blaze.

According to the emergency service the fire involved large amounts of grass, trees and hay.

In a statement released a spokespersons said: “Great weather means dry countryside....carelessness causes grass and bush fires.

“Three fire engines last night fought a fire in Rathcoole Co. Dublin involving large amounts of grass, trees and hay.

Crews spent nearly 3 hours fighting the fire, finishing at 0100.”
