1. Golden Cobra

Coinciding with the 30-year-anniversary of the founding of Golden Cobra by the late Paddy Hyland, the club made a return to Irish boxing following the official renaming of Hyland Boxing Academy.

3. Lisa Fallon 1903535

A former player with Round Towers GAA Club, Lucan United and Leixlip United, Clondalkin native Lisa Fallon took over as Head Coach of the FA Women’s Championship team London City Lionesses.

4. CorkaghParkNetsInstallationwithSocialDistancing

Catering for 200 playing members across some 15 teams, Adamstown Cricket Club took their first tentative steps back into training.

Adamstown CC members installed new nets at the club’s training facility as they began training following months of uncertainty caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

6. Citywest Golf Course 60850

A statement from Citywest Resort Golf Club informed members that the company who runs Citywest Hotel, Cape Wrath Hotel Limited, had activated the required 10-month notice for termination of their Licence Agreement with them which will, as a result, come to an end on March 27, 2021.

Despite this, Citywest GC officers remained optimistic that a new agreement could be reached.

Later in October, planning permission was sought from South Dublin County Council to rezone some of the land which proposed the development of housing on land at the former 18- hole Citywest golf course.
