Gardai arrest three men in relation to shooting in Lucan

THREE men were arrested yesterday evening in relation to the shooting of a male in Lucan, back on September 4, 2019.
The operation and arrests were carried out by Lucan Gardai and the Emergency Response Unit.

One of the men was taken to Lucan Garda Station and the other two men were taken to Ronanstown Garda Station.

The three men have been charged and are due to appear before Blanchardstown District Court this morning (Wednesday) at 10:30am.

The victim, who was in his 40s, was shot a number of times while he sat in his Toyota jeep.

He was treated at the scene before being rushed to Connolly Hospital in Blanchardstown.

Following the shooting, two cars were discovered burnt-out in the same area.
