Saoirse Women's Refuge visit the Square to highlight domestic violence

The Saoirse Women's Refuge is in the Square on Thursday evening until 7pm to hand out information.

The Tallaght-based refuge are selling Christmas cards by children who live in the Saoirse accommodation to raise funds.
The Tallaght-based women's refuge want to bring the issue of domestic violence into the public arena by holding a number of different events and talks as part of Women's Aid 16 Days of Action Campaign.
The campaign, which began on November 25 and finishes on December 10, aims to raise awareness on the issue and calls for change at a local and national level to make women and children safe.
