Walking the walk for Bark in the Park

THE Irish Blue Cross is hosting a Bark in the Park sponsored dog walk in Tymon Park on August 19.

Starting at 3pm, the walk will take off from the Tallaght-end of Tymon Park (beside the playground), with all money raised going towards supporting the running costs of the Irish Blue Cross’s charitable veterinary services.

The charity hosts a number of Bark in the Park events over the summer months, with the 4km paw-printed route in Tallaght next on the calendar.

Alongside the sponsored walk, the day boasts music, fun, games, raffles and dog competitions to win the conveted titles of Best Bark, Happiest Smile, Waggiest Tail, Shiniest Coat and more.

On completion all participants receive a certificate and goody bag.
