A NUMBER of local schools have benefited from Lidl’s new partnership with the Ladies’ Gaelic Football Association, with school teams winning kit bags containing jerseys and GAA equipment.

Each Lidl branch nationwide ran an in-store competition which saw local schools battle it out to win votes from customers.

The schools with the most votes won Lidl’s Ladies’ Gaelic Football Association (LGFA) post-primary schools store competition and were presented with a kit bag containing jerseys and GAA equipment - and locally, nine schools scored a kit bag.
